Articulated, multi-axis robots imitate the dexterity and movements of the human arm and allow for much more complex automation and packaging systems at higher payloads than delta robots. Based on their high degree of accuracy and performance, these robots are particularly suited to packing products into final packaging.
CKF has acquired a high degree of success in the design and manufacture of robot-based systems utilising multi-axis robotic arms within a wide range of applications and industries. The robots have been employed to overcome anything from single repetitive operations through to highly complex challenges, utilising proprietary units from a simple 25kg bench mountable robot through to robots with high payloads.
An important feature of any automated process is tool selection and our experienced engineers design tooling specifically for the task required. To that end, CKF has developed a range of standard tooling designs to handle an extensive array of products, ranging from single suction cup pick and place tools to servo driven case grippers. All tools are designed, manufactured and tested in house at CKF in Gloucester ensuring they are built to the highest of standards.
