Software Engineer

We require a Software Engineer to work within our Electrical controls team.​ Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager and qualified to minimum HNC in an Electrical Engineering discipline, the candidate will be able to work on their own initiative with a positive attitude to meeting customer requirements.​

Skills and duties: Design of software applications, testing and implementation, including knowledge of Allen Bradley, Seimens and ABB robotic applications.​ Preparation of software applications and equipment for the Customer acceptance of equipment at CKF premise prior to delivery.​ Implementation and equipment commissioning on customer sites both within the UK and abroad.​ Preparation of FDS. Customer technical support. Provide technical support to the Sales, proposal, project and design team, including simulations, estimating and software selection.​ Experienced with pneumatic controls.​ Familiarity wth robotic automation and tooling.​ Competent with Microsoft software.​ Practical support to the Electrical department.​
