Range of infeeds for row conditioning, product collation, accumulation, separation, re-orientation, distribution and line inspection for high speed – high volume applications
Versatile operation to suit a wide range of product types and operating environments with the ability to interface with virtually any process or packaging machine
Control systems include operator interfaces with optional access codes for defined production and maintenance operations
Infeeds can be designed as stand alone units or for full integration into third party equipment
Optional inspection systems are available, including vision cameras, open flap detection systems, positional sensing and bar code scanners
All systems are based on reliable and well proven designs with low maintenance requirements
Designed to interrogate and track a random flow of irregular box sizes for distribution to a range of defined packing positions with the added ability to direct poorly labelled / printed boxes to a central collection area for correction and redistribution
Suitable for high speed applications with multiple distribution routes interfacing with automated loading stations
Reliable well proven design with low demands for maintenance and operator intervention
Optional features for enhanced inspection of boxes or bags and line flexibility with multiple outlet facilities

Bespoke systems designed to interface with robotic systems and applications including collation, accumulation, layering, re-orientation and creation of defined patterns with the flexibility to accommodate a range of packing options
Incorporation of product conditioning and inspection facilities at a centralised station or multiple positions
Robot cell guarding including interlocked access gates, light guards and machine interfacing to provide highest level of safety standards
Centralised control system for incorporation into robot control cabinet or to operate as a stand alone operation with defined interfaces
All robotic applications are supported by an experienced team of design and project engineers with expert knowledge in robotic capabilities and interfacing
CKF can interface directly with a nominated robot supplier or assume direct control including sourcing and programming of the robotic unit
CKF offer a wide range of accumulation / buffer storage systems for a large variety of applications across most industries
Systems vary from basic in-line holding arrangements to provide a localised accumulation / buffer to cover short machine stops through to high volume vertical storage systems
Application for specific systems could employ the use of spiral elevators, tiered conveyors, dedicated off line storage conveyors or carousel systems – including the use of chilled enclosures for temperature dependant goods
Vertical storage systems occupy a relatively small floor space and offer a very flexible storage system to provide localised storage for short line stoppages through to storage of the full production flow
Infeed and discharge systems would be designed to provide an effective interface with the main line to allow removal and re-introduction of the product flow under a controlled basis
All accumulation / buffer storage systems are available for FIFO and / or LIFO operations and are supplied complete with all associated line controls and guarding
CKF offer a diverse range of dividers / divergers and combiners / convergers in a wide range of sizes and operating patterns to suit a multitude of handling applications
Dividers and combiners are designed to suit a wide range of loads and flow rates with options varying from simple low speed combiners through to high speed applications with programmable lane selection and product turning systems
All systems are available with multiple track options and include lane marshalling systems to monitor and control the flow rate into the divider / combiner section
Proven design for conditioning rows of product for distribution to a series of packaging machines on demand, based on a greedy boy principle or on a balanced flow operating procedure
Optional features include inline buffer storage system to cover for short term line stoppages, row alignment, row integrity checks (with provision for row abort) and full inspection facilities
Suitable for a wide range of products types such as confectionery, frozen foods, ice cream and bakery goods often at line speeds of up to 90 rows per minute and overall belt widths of 200mm
The system can be fully integrated with up stream / downstream equipment including MIS interfacing and integration of complex control functions
The row handling system can be designed to interface with virtually any type of packaging equipment, particularly flow wrapping machines
The overall design of the complete line allows optimum access for hygiene and operator procedures, with minimal maintenance demands and ease of use
CKF offer a bespoke design service for equipment such as product sortation units, collation systems, pack turning / reorientation units and product loading units
Sortation systems are designed to suit a wide range of product types and to create a regulated flow of uniformly orientated product from a totally random infeed
Product collation systems are designed to suit specific applications and product demands and are particularly well suited to interfacing with packaging machine systems such as robots, pick and place units, flow wrapping machines, VFFS machines and cartoning machines
Product turning systems range from simple turning posts through to twin lane belt drives with differential linear speeds or profiled side drives to turn products vertically through 90 degrees
Product loading units are either based on proven systems adapted to suit the application or of a bespoke nature with typical examples including tray and carton loading,
