New Year optimism in the air at CKF

Following a strong year of growth for UK automation and robotics, confidence is high that figures will continue to rise as we enter another exciting year for the industry.

CKF Managing Director, Bryan Wheeler, is looking forward to what’s in store during 2012.

“Manufacturing companies of all sizes are now getting to grips with the prospect that investment in robotics and automation is essential in securing a sustainable future,” he explains. “The effort the British Automation and Robot Association (BARA) has made in addressing the previous lack of understanding and confidence in automated devices is finally coming to fruition, and there is every reason to believe that the next 12 months will bring continued growth, for CKF and for the industry as a whole.”

“It is reassuring to see that CKF’s escalating success within our specialist field, the food industry, is mirrored by the recent statistics compiled by BARA, reporting a 205% rise in sales of robots for the UK food and drink trade during the third quarter of 2011.  The robotics industry is moving forward as a united front and this should encourage the manufacturing trade to overcome the fear of change and take the necessary steps towards longevity.”
