Stainless steel conveyors remain a speciality (the original company specialised in high quality stainless steel fabrications for the food industry)
Modular and robust designs with built in flexibility to suit a wide range of applications
Full range of conveyor types designed to suit a wide and varied scope of applications in the food, pharmaceutical and allied industries
The range of conveyor applications available vary from handling small piece products through to full scale operations, ensuring that the correct conveyor is selected for the application
The full range includes PVC / PU belting, thermo plastic belting, wire belt, driven roller, gravity roller, flighted elevators, bordaflex side wall belts with product flights, low back pressure accumulation sections, retract units, twin belt conveyors for high speed turning, bucket elevators, vibratory decks and troughed bed sections
Clean room/full hose down applications to meet the highest level of hygiene demands
Bespoke design service available to suit specific applications or processes with specialised features or abilities
Cooling systems with single or multiple lanes for low temperature re controlled environments
Aggressive Industries and environments with specific demands such as powders, granulated products and caustic substances
Merge sections, dynamic transfers, buffering and line controls for loose products or packaged goods
Product conditioning applications in high-volume, high-speed operations such as row forming, product alignment, sortation and distribution
High volume, high speed applications remain a specialisation of the company, particularly the confectionery and bakery industries
Significant experience in food, pharmaceutical and allied industries across a wide spectrum of applications from processing through to packaging and end of line palletisation
CKF have developed a large number of systems for handling fresh, frozen and chilled products in loose form or as packaged goods
Creating discrete rows or batches of products for presentation to process or packaging equipment i.e. freezer infeeds, glazing units, pick and place systems or automated packaging
Elevating or de-elevating loose products within restricted floor areas to interface with process and / or packaging equipment to provide localised access headroom.
Typical machine interfaces include multi-head weighers, wrapping machines, flavour drums and high level distribution systems
Transfer and containment of high-volume high-density products through various process stages, often of a heavy duty ‘open’ tubular design to provide maximum access for hygiene operations, including built-in belt cleaning systems
Accumulation / buffering of products such as small piece goods cases, cartons, bottles, cans and packs under controlled conditions based on either LIFO or FIFO operating procedures
Elevators are available in a range of different modules to handle light/medium duty or heavy duty loads with a wide range of elevating and de-elevating options
Light / medium duty units can be based on a moving platen system with a single pneumatically actuated servo driven bed section or a series of interlinked platens.
Light/medium duty units are ideal for higher speed applications with a defined infeed and discharge height and are more tolerant of variable case dimensions and irregular flow rates
The heavy duty unit is based on a pair of heavy duty chain drives mounted in parallel in a vertical attitude with a series of matched carriers and is more suited to lower speed applications
All systems are fully guarded with associated interfacing conveyors and can be supplied as stand alone units or integrated into a full turnkey operation.
Belt bends allow products to be transferred through bends of various angles whilst maintaining orientation through the employment of ‘true’ angles and effective diameter end rollers
Standard belt bend units are available with angles of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 180 degrees, belt widths from 150mm up to 2500mm and outside radius ranging from 600mm to 3500mm
Features of the bends include a unique chain drive and flexible ‘loop’ connectors to provide a positive drive without imparting undue loads into the belt
The overall design and manufacture of the belt bends ensure a reliable conveying medium, requiring minimal maintenance.
A further development to the standard range of belt bends is the inclusion of special units such as spiral sections where floor space is particularly restricted and a height change is required
CKF Systems Limited offers an expansive range of Spiral elevators to suit a wide and varied scope of applications and products
Typical applications for the Spiral elevators include elevation, de-elevation and in line buffer storage carrying boxes, crates, bags or trays, with pay loads up to 35kg per linear meter and belt speeds in excess of 75m/min
Operating temperature range of - 40° to +120° centigrade
The Spiral elevators are robust and reliable with the versatility to provide an effective solution for transferring goods to extreme height variations whilst occupying minimal floor space
Angles of incline, pitch of the spirals and belt selection provide an enhanced range of options, with the added benefits of thermoplastic belting
